Signing up for events - your questions answered
Overview - This page is to designed to answer any questions on how to register for Ska'moog events. Our system is unique since we track team power rankings, have stats, and have multiple divisions (note - players are allowed to play in multiple divisions and teams). These features make our registration process more involved then your traditional one-and-done leagues. As such, this page is designed to show you how to create a team, have players join, change teams, create a new team in the same or different division, remove players, and change jersey numbers
Important Rules to note
1) You are allowed to play in multiple divisions in Ska'moog (e.g., you can play in Pro A and Co-Rec)
2) You can leave teams, create new teams, and join new teams as often as you would like. You can only be on one team though in each division at any time

NEW TEAMS - how do I create a new team?
1) Select the event that you want to participate in (click "Find Events" - blue button and navigate to the registration page shown below)
2) Follow the registration process on the site to the "registration screen" and select "CREATE NEW TEAM"
3) Select a division, team name, provide your information, jersey color, and size and follow the registration details
4) Then fill in your payment information and process. Your new team will be created along with your Ska'moog account information. You will receive emails from Ska'moog confirming. If you do not receive them check your spam and please adjust your account settings to let them be through to your email account.
Note - your team is now active and you will be able to accumulate ranking points for that team in every event that you play in. So it is important to retain your information.

NEW TEAMS - how do I add new players to my team?
1) There are two options for players to join your team. Option 1 is you as the captain can register the players and pay for them or option 2 is you can invite them to your team and they can join your team using a unique team code and pay for their registration. We walk through both options below:
Option 1: Captain registers and pays for teammates
1) Navigate to the registration page where you registered yourself. To do this go to www.skamoog.com and then select "Find Events" select the event you registered for and navigate to the registration page where "Ska'moog" is centered on top as shown below.
2) Log into your account from this page - type in your email and password on the top right. Logging in will bring up your team and your information as shown below. Make sure you log into the right event (that is the event you want to add players to).
3) To add players navigate to the center of the page where it will allow you add new players. Notice you have the option to add new players (make sure you "Check" the register option and input the correct info) and you can also select existing players to register for your team. The captain can select and enter the player info and then register those players by completing the process and paying.
Note - the captain can continue to navigate back to this screen to register more players prior to the event. Also, other players that are not the captain can do this as well to register players.

Option 2: Captain sends team code to teammates and they join the captains team and pay
1) When you finish registering for an event, it will have an option to INVITE teammates where emails will be sent to teammates with the event info and detailed instructions on how to register. If you know which teammates you want, this is the best way to invite them.
But, if you do not invite them via email, you will want to save your TEAM CODE and then send it to any teammates. To locate your team code go to www.skamoog.com, select find events, and navigate to the registration screen for the event that has the "Ska'moog" logo in the middle of the page. Then log in on the top right and you will see this page:
2) Send the team code highlighted above that is custom for your team to ALL of your players. They each player needs to go to www.skamoog.com, locate the event you are registered for, and then on the registration page select JOIN TEAM and enter the TEAM CODE (see below for screen shot)
3) Follow the registration process to JOIN TEAM
